Pornographic display doesn’t suit tailors

Suit Supply, A Dutch male fashion firm, has come under fire after unveiling a provocative window display at London’s Westfield Shopping Centre.

The eye catching display features a range of contentious back lit photographs, including an obliging woman reclining whilst a male companion peers up her skirt to her underwear and a sharp suited man accompanying a woman stroking her naked breast and nipple.

Not everyone has been seduced by the images however; some have branded them pornographic and sexist.

Official complaints have been made to the Advertising Standards Authority by shoppers, outraged that young children would be exposed to them. Opinion hasn’t all been one sided however, many tweeters have praised the campaign for being “hot” and “sexy”.

Suit Supply has eagerly courted controversy over the years, notably with a Start Smoking campaign to flog smoking jackets.
