Carcraft has appointed Cheshire agency driven to its £7.5m above-the-line advertising account.

The car supermarket's head of marketing, Julia Dallimore, said she had appointed the agency after "holding chemistry meetings with a small number of recommended agencies".

Graham Drury, a partner at driven, said: "Carcraft is an entrepreneurial business that has seen great success over the years. We’ll be helping to take things to the next level by creating ideas that sell and drive reappraisal.

"Strategic and creative development has been handled in-house previously, so this is a significant decision for Carcraft and great news for us."

Unaffected by the appointment is Carcraft's media agency, Mediacom North, which was also hired by Dallimore earlier this year.
