Andre and Batey join Union Direct
Two key appointments have been made at Union direct, with the hiring of Karen Andre as business development director and Daniel Batey taking the role of head of data planning.
Andre joins from Tangible Communications where she held the same role, having also operated as client services director for WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland previous to that.
Meanwhile Batey, joins from International Masters Publishers where he was global head of data planning.
Gus Chalmers, managing director of Union Direct said of hiring Andre; “Karen’s appointment is a real coup for us. She brings a wealth of experience and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the marketplace. I’m sure she’s going to have a big impact on our business over the next few years.”
The two will now work across the direct marketing division of The Union’s clients, including Scottish Widows, Scottish Friendly Assurance, SWIP, VisitScotland, Scottish Government, Staples and Black Horse Motor Dealer Finance.
