Manchester digital and design agency Creative Lynx is challenging the public to come up with ideas for mobile apps.

The winner will see their idea transformed into a fully-fledged app by Creative Lynx's digital team, and they will also be rewarded with an iPad.

The competition is for a good cause with proceeds from the app's sale on Apple's store going to the Forever Manchester charity.

Creative Lynx has launched a website - No App For That - for entrants to submit their ideas.

The top 10 apps as rated by the public will go through to a panel of judges who will pick the winner. Deadline for entires is 13 December with the winner announced on 17 December.

Dave Hunt, digital director at Creative Lynx, said: "Our development team has already won awards for their app development. This is a great opportunity for them to work on something a bit different and we can’t wait to see what ideas entrants come up with, and what the team produce.”
