Birmingham shopping and leisure complex Broadway Plaza has appointed PR and design agency Seal to deliver an integrated campaign.

Birmingham-based Seal says it is implementing a "three-five year strategic campaign" spanning on and offline channels.

It was appointed after a competitive pitch with a remit to increase footfall to the plaza for its managing agents Cusham & Wakefield and centre manager Arthur Webb.

Webb said: "We need to refresh our marketing strategy and also build our presence in social media."

Broadway Plaza houses Birmingham’s only bowling alley, a 3D AMC cinema, as well as a gym, casino and host of restaurants and bars.

Seal chief executive Katie Morris said: "We will be working closely with Arthur and the managing agents to devise a robust strategy which will form the framework for our campaign, helping broaden the appeal of the Plaza and attract more consumers."

The campaign commences with a stakeholder relations programme and independent consumer research.
