NHS Grampian is currently working with STV Creative on a TV campaign to highlight to recent female school leavers that they are still eligible to receive a vaccination against the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV.)

The campaign is one of several being created exclusively by regions of NHS Scotland as the vaccination will be delivered differently across the country, meaning that a national campaign would not be effective in delivering the necessary messages.

Each territorial NHS Board has been made responsible for their own marketing of the HPV Vaccine message, with some areas choosing to run a campaign, and other looking to reach girls through different methods.

The NHS Grampian TV campaign will feature university students from the area who have received the treatment, encouraging their peers to do the same. Invites will also be sent out through out the region with information and highlighting that this is the last chance for them to receive the vaccination at the local GP.

The TV campaign will begin on 1 November for four weeks on STV Aberdeen.
