The Manchester office of Feather Brooksbank is to handle Lloydspharmacy's "multi-million pound" media planning and buying account.

The agency's appointment follows a six-week review process that culminated in a final pitch involving Mindshare, MediaCom North and Brilliant Media.

Feather Brooksbank's Manchester office will handle the account.

Claire Bayliss, marketing director at Lloydspharmacy, said: "In recent years, our marketing activity has helped us to raise Lloydspharmacy’s profile among both consumers and suppliers. We now wish to build on that awareness and truly engage with our target audiences.

"As well as building our brand equity, we believe effective marketing and channel planning can have a positive impact on our commercial objectives and drive incremental sales and profit."

Lloydspharmacy operates a chain of over 1650 pharmacies across the UK.
