CheethamBell's Lambert takes Magnet marketing role

Ian Lambert, formerly an account director at Manchester agency CheethamBell JWT, has joined kitchen retailer Magnet as its head of marketing.

Lambert, who led the Magnet account at CBJWT, will now oversee the brand’s marketing from its base in Leeds.

He will be tasked with heading up both retail and trade marketing at Magnet, and will also be responsible for the development of both Magnet and Magnet Trade brands and their marketing strategies.

Lambert told The Drum that after five years working with Magnet on the agency side, he was looking forward to being able to influence the business beyond its advertising output.

“I’ve always enjoyed seeing marketing strategies help develop the wider business and now I get to do this first hand on both the retail and trade functions,” he said.
