Ladbrokes are offering odds of 4/1 that ITV breakfast show Daybreak will drop co-hosts Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley amidst plummeting viewing figures for the programme.

Poached from the BBC to reinvigorate ITV’s rating the pair has achieved the opposite with viewers switching off in their droves. The show now pulls in lower ratings than its dumped predecessor, GMTV.

Arch rivals BBC Breakfast are celebrating however after pulling in double the number of viewers on Tuesday, a healthy 1.4m.

3.2m people tuned in to observe the chemistry between Chiles and Bleakley last week, giving them a 19.7% audience share. Well down on the 24.4% that GMTV recorded over the same period last year.

Still things aren’t looking entirely down for Chiles, he was caught ogling his co-hosts boobs on this mornings broadcast.
