Manchester City Council hands 10-year-outdoor contract to MediaCo

Manchester City Council has appointed its ten-year outdoor advertising contract to MediaCo Outdoor.

The contract allows the Manchester outdoor company the right to develop advertising displays on the Council’s sites, with more than 50 locations across the city, and will share the profits with the Council.

Mark Wardle, managing director of MediaCo Outdoor, said: "Manchester is one of Europe’s most important cities and we are excited that Manchester City Council has awarded us this key contract. We are determined to create a portfolio that adds real value to the UK out of home advertising market and look forward to working in partnership to develop what we hope to be the most modern, innovative and compelling large format advertising proposition rivalling any world city."
