Brazen wins Original Source PR business

PZ Cussons has appointed Manchester agency Brazen to handle national PR for its shower gel and skincare brand Original Source following a four-way pitch.

Fellow Manchester agency Staniforth previously worked on Original Source's PR.

Brazen's brief is to deliver a "multi-layered" PR campaign to help reinforce Original Source's 'Packed with Natural Stuff' brand proposition.

The agency will work alongside fellow Manchester outfit PushON, PZ Cussons' online marketing partner, to create social media campaigns to boost brand awareness and improve SEO for the newly-launched Original Source website.

Brazen's team will also work to ramp up the profile of the Original Source Mountain Mayhem Event, a 24-hour mountain bike race which will take place at Eastnor Castle next June.

Nina Webb, Brazen's founder, said: “Original Source is a cult brand already well established in the outdoors arena, and has a loyal, almost tribal, fan base.

"Our job is to unlock its potential even further and involve other like-minded consumers in the brand and its lifestyle.”
