HTI tasks Citypress with awareness drive

Independent designers and toy manufacturer HTI has tasked Citypress to promote the company and raise its profile on an international scale.

Following a competitive pitch, the Manchester PR agency with aim to help HTI grow in several areas of the UK’s £2.2bn toy industry, including wheeled, role play, outdoor and everyday toys, including doll’s prams and pushchairs.

The company holds licenses to develop products for brands such as Peppa Pig, Hello Kitty, Postman Pat and Toy Story, as well as its own in-house brands such as Teamsterz.

Citypress has now been tasked with promoting HTI’s credentials to its global customer base of retailers and distributors.

Martin Currie, director of Citypress, said that the agency;s role was to drive awareness of HTI’s exptertise, investment, product ranges and service capabilities with product buyers and distributors across the UK and to its target overseas market.

“HTI is a real British success story – an established local business that has evolved its proposition to become an international, added-value partner to the global retail sector with a diversified product range and customer base. Its ability to grow sales and profits despite one of the toughest retail climates in decades is testament to its strength and resilience,” he added.
