Beckham red cards US mag over prostitutes claims
US celebrity magazine, In Touch, has been kicked into touch by the Beckhams after it printed the claims of a prostitute, Irma Nici, who said she’d slept with the England star.
Sensing the potentially severe damage to brand Beckham the pair were quick to refute the claims as “utter nonsense” and announced their decision to take legal action over the claims.
A family spokesperson said: “The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous, as the magazine was clearly told before publication. Sadly, we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it.”
Beckham enjoys multi million pound sponsorship deals with Adidas, Giorgio Armani and Motorola. Victoria has also branched out from her Posh Spice days, recently launching her own range of bags and the couple even have their own brand of perfume, 'Intimately Yours’.
