Viral and online nominations for Scottish Advertising Awards announced

The viral and online categories for this year’s Scottish Advertising Awards have been announced.

Nominated in the viral category are the ‘Bruzil’ campaign for AG Barr by The Leith Agency, which also has a nomination for its Knife Crime – ‘Graffiti’ viral for The Scottish Government, Mallinson Television Productions for Steph Davies ‘Gym Equipment’ viral, The Union with ‘Brilliant Stuff’ for Historic Scotland and ‘Fringecover’ for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by Whitespace.

The Online Advert or Campaign category sees The Bridge nominated twice for both ‘Vicky’ and ‘Dave’ for the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, The Leith Agency, again for ‘Bruzil’ for AG Barr, Whitespace for ‘Country Roads. Don’t Risk It’ for Scottish Government (Safer Scotland), and also for Tennent's with ‘The Fabulous Brew Conceived by Hugh’.

The nominations for all of the Scottish Advertising Awards can be viewed online.

The results will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 8 October at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.
