A sub brand for Mitsubishi Motors has been created with the aim of reflecting the car manufacturer’s commitment to the environment.
Created by Golley Slater Cardiff, ‘Intelligent Motion’ is the result of Golley Slater Cardiff design team developing a new brand name to encompass all of Mitsubishi’s environmental activity, from its manufacturing process, car models, and technology improvements through to the efforts being made internally.
The sub brand will be appear on Mitsubishi’s advertising, point of sale material, individual car brochures and its website.
The ‘Intelligent motion’ brand was showcased at the launch of the manufacturer’s newest environmentally friendly car, the Mitsubishi ASX for which the agency designed the sales materials and provided the creative design to wrap the building where dealers were offered test drives of the new car in specially branded vehicles.
Golley Slater has also rebranded all other advertising materials to reflect the clean lines and messaging to highlight the marked change from all of Mitsubishi’s previous campaigns.
Haydn Davies, general manager for marketing at Mitsubishi, explained: “We originally briefed Golley Slater to come up with a sub brand to reflect all the efforts we are making to make Mitsubishi a more environmentally-friendly company and we were delighted with their suggestion of ‘Intelligent Motion’. The new branding is clean, effective and fits exactly with what we are trying to achieve.”
