Manchester creative, digital, film and media organisation, The MPA, has unveiled its new identity, created by Delineo, MC2 and BJL.

Nick Melvin, managing director of Delineo, said that the new identity would provide a framework for Manchester’s creative community to showcase their ideas and talents.

“Built as a container device, the logo on the MPA website will be populated by different people’s work, reflecting the city’s skills and talents and enabling the brand to constantly evolve,” he continued.

Cindy Simmons, managing director of the MPA, commented: “Community ownership of the MPA brand is an interesting, progressive concept, and is a perfect fit in the sense that it is completely in line with the notion that the new MPA operates for and is led entirely by Manchester’s creative sector and what they need. It’s the community’s MPA.

“We look forward to seeing everyone getting involved and witnessing the brand evolve through what will, I’m sure, be many, many guises in the coming months and years.”

The unveiling of the identity follows the announcement of its new Strategic Advisory Board earlier this week.
