After the heartache of the World Cup, a new five-a-side football tournament being sponsored by The Drum aims to put some pride back into our national game. But time is running out for companies to sign up for the Manchester Digital Creative Cup, so do it today.

After a footballing annus horribilis for England fans, the Manchester Digital Creative Cup, organised by Ian James Cox and sponsored by The Drum, will see 32 marketing services companies fighting it out at Manchester's Powerleague, with all money raised during the day going to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

So far agencies signed up to pull on their shorts and shin pads include Code Computerlove, Reading Room, Love Creative, Amaze, Cuckoo Design, Dinosaur, Return on Digital, KMP, CTI, Motionlab, Clock Creative, Creative Lynx, GyroHSR, Orchard, The Drum and more.

To sign up to take part simply visit the Manchester Digital Creative Cup website and follow the instructions. Costs are £120 per team, but hurry as places are now limited.

The winning team will receive the Manchester Digital Creative Cup trophy and the admiration of their digital colleagues for the next 12 months and The Drum will be there to capture all the action, even if The Drum team will probably not be delivering a great deal of action on the pitch.

For more information visit the website or contact Ian James Cox by email.
