Laura Mcilquham, head of PR for DADA is to leave the Glasgow PR, marketing and events agency to begin a new career.

Mcilquham, who joined the company when it was still in its infancy, went on to become a director after only two years.

Julie MacSporran has taken over the role of leading the PR team ahead of Mcilquham departing at the beginning of October.

Mcilquham told The Drum: “After nearly seven years with DADA I’ve made the decision to leave and move on to new ventures. I joined DADA in 2003 in its infancy and have had an amazing time helping grow the company - it’s a hugely creative agency and I’ll be sad to leave a great team and clients. However I’m looking forward to focusing on something new and one of the things I’ll be doing is launching a vintage interiors business in October”.

It is understood that she will however continue to work as a freelance PR consultant too.
