Scottish Enterprise is to tender to create a new website and content management system for its 7stanes Mountain Biking and cycling Website as well as a new Content Management System.

The project has a budget of between £20,000 and £24,000 over the next six months, with the site expected to go live by 30 March and will aim to develop the 7stanes brand online to attract existing and potential visitors to engage with the site and mountain biking centres.

It will also look to become the most authoritative source of mountain biking information and develop a database of existing and potential visitors that can be used to increase footfall to the mountain biking centres through direct marketing.

The site will also aim to raise revenue by providing commercial online services to web visitors, including e-commerce, and raise donations from visitors to support the project, as well as sponsorship support.

The deadline for expressions of interest has been set for 15 September with the tender being sent out 24 September.
