British-made household cooking brands Belling, Stoves, New World as well as refrigeration company Lec, all part of Merseyside-based Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, are to switch PR agencies.

All of the consumer and trade PR for the four brands will move into Umpf, which was founded by former Lucre board director Adrian Johnson 12 months ago. In addition, Umpf will be providing social media campaigns across the portfolio of brands.

Jonathan Casley, sales and marketing director at GDHA, said: “The time was right for us to refresh our PR support, enhance the creativity and also bring in social media campaign support. Adrian originally won the account and we’re looking forward to working with the Umpf team to build on past successes.”

Johnson added: “With four great British heritage brands, we’re naturally delighted to be working with Jonathan and the GDHA team and a chance to complete some unfinished business for me personally.”

Glen Dimplex Home Appliances manufactures and markets three of the UK’s top ten cooking brands: Belling, Stoves and New World, as well as one of the top names in refrigeration, Lec.
