Stockport agency KMP Digitata has hired Michelle Collins, formerly of Flame Digital, as client services manager.

She takes over the role from Gerard Daring, who now becomes the agency's business development director.

Collins was business manager at Manchester-based Flame Digital before the agency went into administration in January.

At KMP she will be responsible for working with clients including the Manchester Airports Group, Renold, IMI Cornelius and Tensar.

She said: "I am excited to be joining a progressive and established agency like KMP Digitata and look forward to further developing relationships with the likes of Manchester Airport and Renold."

Collins' arrival comes on the back of "several recent client wins for the company," KMP said, including Vie at Home, which has chosen the agency to develop a Facebook application
