Willoughby PR handed launch brief to drive Kick Ultra awareness

Drinks brand development business, Global Brands is set to launch a major marketing campaign to promote its latest product, Kick Ultra.

The campaign will be created by London based More Creative which has handle all advertising and design work, while Birmingham communications firm Willoughby PR is to deliver the launch campaign.

The brand is set to launch later this month, with the marketing campaign design to promote the concept to consumers and educate venue staff as to how they should promote it.

The launch event, being held in London, will include a host of Kick Ultra serving suggestions, which will be tried and tested on journalists and other guests.

Following this, the profile of the brand will be delivered through a national in-bar cocktail competition, with the aim of generating sustained presence in drinks trade publications in order to raise the brand’s profile over a two-month-period.

POS, online marketing, targeted media, promotional teams, national sales and incentives will support the advertising campaign.

Justin Horsman, marketing manager for development brands at Global Brands, said: “Kick Ultra’s versatility is what makes it such a strong proposition. Consumers have become disillusioned with the traditional vodka and energy serve, but Kick Ultra is a completely new twist for the on trade. With the extra support we are putting behind the launch campaign, we expect the product to be a bit hit.”
