Manchester agency BJL is helping Harvey Nichols Manchester encourage customers to check their testicles for signs of cancer.

Manchester-based BJL has created an installation at the store showing mannequins peering down their trousers aside a message saying "cancer isn't always on display".

BJL's Kath Mainprize said: “People are more likely to go to their GP and report anything unusual if they understand how positive the survival rates are following early detection.

"With testicular cancer in particular, there is a 99 per cent survival rate if you detect it early – and it’s really important that men know this.”

Claire Calderbank, of Harvey Nichols Manchester, added: “We’ve supported the charity in various ways over the years, so it’s rewarding that we can actually use our store to convey important messages to our customers.

"It’s a very worthwhile cause and we hope we can make a difference.”
