The Drum's website is now regularly ranked as one of the UK’s top 1,000 most visited websites, according to web information company Alexa.

In recent weeks The Drum’s regularly updated website has grown in popularity and was rated as highly as the UK’s 935th most visited website last week.

Development of the website as a hub for all creative marketing communications stories continues and has recently seen The Drum covering news and seeking opinions not only on regional marketing issues, but also on global issues such as Google’s problems in the Far East, the introduction of online paywalls by News International and the launch of Apple iPad.

The Drum’s website has also benefitted from a recently-launched new online creative directory, which offers extensive details of hundreds of creative agencies.

Stephen Lepitak, news editor for The Drum, said: “We’ve been working hard on the site over the last year to ensure that it is regularly updated and we are trying to make it of interest to a wide audience across differing media sectors, and hopefully our readers are enjoying what we’re delivering.

"We should definitely say thank you to them all because, obviously, we couldn’t have achieved this without them.”
