Liverpool agency Finch has picked up new client Qire and hired the former directors of Peppered Sprout.

Voice messaging company Qire has appointed Finch to handle its branding, advertising and digital requirements.

And the agency has hired ex-Peppered Sprout bosses Peter Kellet and Chris Morris as creative director of content and commercial director respectively. The pair closed their Liverpool agency in May this year.

The new arrivals come on the back of Finch repositioning its own brand. It now bills itself as "Finch: The Advertising and Content Agency".

Tim Crutchley, joint managing director of Finch, said: "More and more clients expect us to take our strategic thinking across all media – on and offline and going forward we see content as king.

“We are also delighted to be working with Peter and Chris who we have watched develop for some years and their culture is one of giving clients return on investment . We are already seeing the partnership working with interest being shown from potential clients."

Morris added: "This is a great opportunity for Peter and myself to hook into such a respected and well known brand that has been established for over twenty years."
