Helen Strother has been appointed as PR director for Paver Smith’s Manchester office.

Srother has been with the company since it formed in 2006 and will oversee the team of six in Manchester and handle clients such as accountants Grant Thornton, legal company DLA Piper and the National Lottery.

She is currently an account director at the company’s Liverpool office and will now be tasked with managing a move to bigger office space within the city, while also taking on a new account executive.

Manchester director Denise Mullen will now move into a consultancy role having completed her earn-out and the integration of Stripe Communications which Paver Smith acquired in 2008.

Srother previously worked in Manchester, spending four years based at Weber Shandwick, followed by IAS b2b.

Said Strother; “Manchester is a city full of opportunity and the success of the office to date is clear proof of that. Our sights are set firmly on continued growth and I’m looking forward to leading a great team.”
