Retail design consultancy Sheridan & Co has created a new flagship store concept for cosmetics brand Urban Decay.

The concept, designed and built by the Leicestershire-based agency, brings a "lighter, sleeker more sophisticated feel" to the brand’s retail space. The new palette of light reflective materials such as glass and crystal contrasts with Urban Decay’s signature purple. It is also features the brand’s new identity.

Dramatic black fringed crystal chandeliers hang above the scheme. Panels of mirrored etched glass featuring Urban Decay’s skyscraper pattern are used throughout the design and on drawer fronts.

Sheridan & Co has created a bespoke glass-topped consultation table with elegant tapered metal legs. A quirky oversized illuminated hand mirror sits on the table to encourage customers to sample the collection. The counter forms part of the consultation area creating a more flexible space.

New transparent acrylic tester bars have been created to house a wider range of product testers at different points in the scheme.

The new flagship concept opened in Debenhams Manchester on 10 June and will be rolled out to number of existing sites.

Sheridan & Co has worked with Urban Decay for ten years designing all the brands shop in shops.
