Alienation Digital has launched a new website for GCV Green Network, a project that aims to make the Glasgow metropolitan region one of Europe’s most attractive places to live, work and play.

The new website incorporates a number of interactive maps of the areas covered showing the different types of projects throughout the region. The entire site – including the projects, videos and extensive publication library – is controlled by GCV through a content management system.

Michelle McGinnis, communications officer, GCV Green Network, said: “Our focus is shifting from awareness raising toward achieving physical delivery of the GCV Green Network Vision. Our new website is a crucial tool in encouraging key audiences to become hands on and get involved with delivery of the Partnership’s strategic projects.

"Through development of localised map features we are able to demonstrate where activity is happening on the ground. Alienations approach has allowed us to take control of a complex website through content management, this will ultimately benefit our end users and lead to more effective communications.”

The GCV Green Network aims to connect quality spaces from Greenock to Lanark and Cumbernauld to East Kilbride.

Meanwhile, Alienation has won the contract to design and build the new Auchrannie Resort website.

Auchrannie House Hotel, Spa Resort and Country Club on the Isle of Arran includes a 28 bedroom House Hotel, built in 1869 and home to the flagship eighteen69 restaurant, the 36 bedroom Spa Resort with a 20 metre swimming pool and the Auchrannie Country Club with its luxury self catering lodges.
