Traditional Scottish gunmakers Graham MacKinlay & Co has appointed Glasgow agency Zen to design and build its new website.

The Dumbarton-based gunmakers has commissioned the digital communications agency to showcase its extensive gun product range through a modern and engaging online catalogue. It is a sector the agency is experienced in, having previoiusly designed and built websites for John Dickson and Son.

This is one of two recent appointments for the agency, which is currently celebrating 10 years in business. It has also been appointed by HALO Trust, the non-political and non-religious NGO specialising in the removal of hazardous debris of war, who has hired Zen to refresh and maximise its brand presence in both the UK and US, as part of a global e-marketing strategy.

Zen managing director Alan Ronald commented on the new wins: “We are delighted to have been appointed to creatively lead and work with two very different and successful clients. The briefs for each couldn’t be more laterally apart but we are excited at the prospect of helping both HALO Trust and Graham MacKinlay grow their audiences online.“
