Bristol Media, the south west regional creative body, has published its annual poll of Top 100 creative agencies, with Future Plc coming top for the second year running.

Although its Sector fee based income had dropped from £112 million to £106,500,000 in the last year, the Bath based company still came out on top, beating out IOP Publishing, which came second with its fee based income recoded at £37, 853, 780.

Bray Leino, which finished second last year, fell to fourth, with its fee income at £19,656,000, behind Aardman Animations which had £21million.

Rounding off the top five was TwoFour, which had £17,849,000 income over the last 12 months.

In terms of Top Five Respected creative companies, Aardman finished top, ahead of E3, Enable Interactive, Taxi Studio and 3Sixty respectively.

Chew TV was named the top creative company to watch.

Introducing the Top 100, Paul Appleby, chair of Bristol Media described the last year as “the most challenging ever” in terms of business, clients and budgets.

“Some have consolidated, taking the opportunity to do some serious navel gazing; rethinking their position and offer, whilst others have gone ‘hell for leather’ to seek investment and stick to growth plans,” he added.
