Scottish Advertising Awards identity redesigned
The identity for The Scottish Advertising Awards has been redesigned by Family, as it looks to underline itself as a symbol of aspiration.

Designed by Michael Fraser and Mark McGrotty, ‘The Crown’ has been created to convey the prestige and quality of the awards, replacing the previous skein dhu identity.
‘The Crown’ uses the A’s from ‘advertising’ and ‘awards, overlayed to form the Scottish Saltire. The symbol sits alongside a re-crafted Kabel typeface, whose W echoes the shapes within the logo. Black and silver were used to convey sophistication.
The new logo will be applied to all printed and online activity for this year’s awards.
