McCann Manchester's digital team has played a key role in developing the online home for Olympic Mascots Wenlock and Mandeville.

The site is a "complex and innovative" social networking platform and the McCann Manchester team has been working with Cisco to design and build it.

Over the next two years Wenlock and Mandeville will be going on a digital journey to promote the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the McCann Manchester team will play a key role in supporting that digital journey, said McCann Manchester chief executive Sue Little: “Prior to launch this project has been shrouded in secrecy. Now that Wenlock and Mandeville have been introduced to the public, I’m delighted to be able to outline our involvement in this process.

"These two mascots have amazing and unique characteristics and we’re extremely proud to be the digital guardians who will support their online adventures over the next two years. This type of work is real testimony to our technical and development teams at our Metro office as well as the creative and project management teams at Bonis Hall.”
