Manchester City Council aims to generate maximum revenue through advertising and sponsorship

Manchester City Council is to form an agreement which will generate income from advertising and sponsorship through a supplier from advertising displays and structures across the city.

The agreement will be for an initial 10-year-period, including an option for a give year extension which will include providing, installing, maintaining all advertising displays/structures, marketing and posting of advertising space including locations at high entry traffic points on major routes into the city and major roads.

The Council, which will aim to award the agreement to a single supplier, has highlighted that it wishes to maximise the revenue generated through advertising and sponsorship on its sites, but in doing so will need to financially transparent with innovation and investment other key skills that must be represented.

The tender will be conducted through e-business portal The Chest with tenders to be submitted by 21 June.
