Bristol-based Mubaloo has teamed up with ‘Britain’s Finest’ to create a directory app for top destinations.

The ‘Britain’s Finest’ app allows users to find "ideal" destinations across the UK.

It focuses on luxury hotels, bed & breakfasts, self catering properties, attractions and activities, museums and art galleries, historic houses, gardens, spas, golf courses, restaurants and gastro pubs.

A team of inspectors, journalists, researchers and travel enthusiasts have handpicked the best accommodation for the ‘Britain’s Finest’ app, as well as things to do and places to eat in the UK. This totals over 4000 entries and 10,000 photos. This is data can be sourced on the app by searches including category, location, postcode and name.

Each entry for the app includes information such as photos, word description, special offers, accreditation information, price information, opening hours, contacts and local mapping info.

The search results are displayed clearly in a list format or by using Google Maps. The ‘Britain’s Finest’ app allows you to filter your search results by classification (e.g. dog friendly hotels), by facility (e.g. hotels with spas) and by special offers. It also allows you to view a list of the latest entries sourced and save the entries you are most interested in.

Oli Blackwell, director of Tomorrow’s Guides (who own the ‘Britain’s Finest’ brand) commented: “We worked with Mubaloo to develop ‘Britain’s Finest’ app. They have been helpful and proactive in helping us achieve an easy to use applicationfor our top rated destinations. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mubaloo and are keen to continue developing further apps with them.”
