Brazen toasts gin account win

Gin and vodka company G&J Grenall has appointed Brazen to handle its PR after a competitive three-way pitch.

The Manchester agency will handle PR for the company's three alcohol brands - Greenall's London Dry Gin, BLOOM London Dry Gin and Cristalnaya Premium Vodka.

But its first job will be to get G&J Greenall noticed within its trade press to promote its own-label products. The Warrington-based distillery produces own-label brands for Tesco and Sainsbury and hopes a PR push will help raise its profile further with both the on and off trade.

And the agency will handle a "profiling programme" for the business and its CEO, Christian Rose, in the corporate press ahead of the company’s 250th birthday next year.

Brazen owner Nina Webb said: "We’re really looking forward to forging a long-term relationship with the G&J Greenall’s team and driving through results that will ultimately reflect positively on the bottom line.”
