Kernel to help take Snack a Jacks into Norway

Pepsico has briefed Manchester-based Kernel to redevelop its Snack a Jacks brand for the Norwegian market.

Snack a Jacks will be marketed in Norway under the Quaker brand and will be available in barbecue and cheese flavours. Kernel said its Scandanavian connections - the agency has an office in Denmark - would help inform its work.

Director of creative strategy, Paul Iddon, said: "As an Anglo-Danish agency, Kernel is uniquely placed to understand the nuances and demands of the Nordic region, with long experience of brand strategy and communications in each individual country."

Kevin Corcoran, Kernel's managing director, added: "Kernel has comprehensive experience working within this sector for brands including Weightwatchers, Rosenborg and Ainsley Harriott."
