Littlewoods is targeting home movers with a customer acquisition campaign to promote its home and garden range.

The online and home shopping retailer has launched the integrated 'Turn a Space into Your Place' campaign with Indicia, the agency that has offices in Bristol, Edinburgh and London.

Based on the creative concept that a house isn't your home until you've made it your own, the campaign mainly focuses on the key items at the top of a home mover's mind, such as furniture, appliances and home accessories.

A dedicated microsite where visitors have the chance to enter a £12,000 prize draw has been created to generate leads and web users will be directed to the site from Facebook advertising and banner ads on websites for home movers.

The campaign’s online creative, including flash banners and the interactive microsite, will allow visitors to select the rooms they wish to furnish and provide them with decorating ideas and shopping inspiration.

A prospect’s click through and browsing behaviour will then be used by Indicia to individually tailor follow-up emails.

The agency will also try to reach out to potential new customers through direct mail (pictured).

Gareth Jones, retail brands director, said: "With ambitious acquisition plans it’s important that we continually look for alternative routes which reach new consumers and expand our customer base."
