Mason Media consumer division outs the Closet and Eats the Chef

Liverpool PR consultancy Mason Media has clinched two new clients for its consumer team, including www.theclosetliverpool.com, which is run by a trio of Hollyoaks actresses.

The Liverpool-based consultancy has won Eat the Chef, the video-sharing website for food-lovers backed by celebrity chef Simon Rimmer, has signed Mason to provide a national and regional PR campaign.

Eat the Chef – www.eatthechef.com - was launched last year by two Liverpool entrepreneurs, Paul Finnegan and Omar Saeed, and has plans to launch a number of consumer campaigns during the next 18 months.

Adding some glamour to Mason Media’s client list is The Closet – www.theclosetliverpool.com - the brainchild of Hollyoaks actresses Claire Cooper, Jennifer Metcalfe and Leah Hackett.

The three women have set up their own high end dress agency, allowing girls to hire designer gowns worn by celebrities and worth thousands of pounds for a fraction of the price.

Among the dresses available for hire are ones previously worn by Cheryl Cole, Tess Daly and Kym Marsh.

Mason Media was set up in 2003 by Lucy and Nick Mason, both former senior journalists with the Daily Mail in London and Manchester.
