Here's your chance to have a look at the unique pieces of artwork that were auctioned off to raise money for NABS at The Drum Marketing Awards last week.

BJL recently curated an exhibition at The Lowry in Manchester called 'Art in Advertising' and to raise funds for the industry charity NABS, Pete Bastiman and Tom Richards of BJL asked if they could hold a silent auction during The Drum Marketing Awards ceremony, which took place last week at Manchester's Ramada Hotel, to auction off some of the exhibits from the exhibition.

There were nine pieces of photographic artwork up for grabs and each piece had been uniquely framed in an old window frame containing leaded glass, which added an extra something to the character of the pieces.

As The Drum Marketing Awards event took place attendees were bidding for each piece of artwork, with some of the pieces being kindly displayed on stage by Jo Carter of Concept Personnel.

At the end of the night, a total of £2,265 had been raised.

Tom Richards, co-creative director at BJL, said “One of the themes of our exhibition was about giving something back, so it was fantastic that we could donate over £2k to NABS. We’d like to thank everyone who bid and The Drum for allowing us to gate crash the their event at such short notice”

The wining bidders for the artwork were:

• Rockstar by Robbie Smith won by Joe Bowler

• Cuba by Stuart Hamilton won by Nicky Unsworth

• Granny by Paul Fawley won by Gemma Connolly

• Sofa by Patrick Harrison won by Neil Clappison

• Man Smoking by John Parker won by Pete Armstrong

• Dog/Shop by Jonathan Oakes won by Nicky Unsworth

• Rotting Animal by Tim Sinclair won by Alex Marks

• Moped by Nick Brown won by Brian Jones

• Xmas Tree by David Boni won by Louise Wymer

Thank you to everyone that made a bid and congratulations to the winners.
