A new corporate identity has been created for Cable&Wireless Communications by Elmwood to coincide with the demerger of Cable&Wireless Communications and Cable&Wireless Worldwide into two separate entities.

Elmwood was appointed last November with a brief of helping to articulate the Cable&Wireless Communications brand in a manner which would embrace the company’s 140-year history and core values, while also bring the brand positioning forward and express a ‘modern, 21st century telecommunications and international viewpoint’.

The project included a new logo, a flexible identity system including original illustrations, an ownable photographic style and iconography, comprehensive brand guidelines detailing everything from digital touch points to brochures to a written tone of voice, a new website, and a brand animation video.
