The next phase of the Scottish Government’s Go Greener campaign will launch today in a bid to encourage people in Scotland to help reduce their effect on global climate change.

This phase of the campaign will focus on the benefits of loft insulation and includes support from interior designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan who will launch it at the Glasgow Science Centre.

Supporting the campaign will be a range of advertising, online, local roadshow and stakeholder activities from roster agencies Newhaven, MediaCom, Whitespace and The Leith Agency.

Pauline Lamb, senior marketing manager at the Scottish Government, said: “This campaign is the next phase in our work to help Scots adopt greener behaviours.

“Loft insulation is an affordable way for people to cut their fuel bills and has a big impact on reducing carbon emissions - if everyone in Scotland installed 270mm of loft insulation, the country would save a total of £56m each year and cut 330,000 tones of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, the equivalent of taking over 100,000 cars off the road.”
