North Lanarkshire Council is to create a creative agency framework agreement for the design and production of marketing materials for employment and training project, North Lanarkshire’s Working.

The project aims to engage with the long-term unemployed and encourage them towards employment while also targeting employers to match participants with jobs.

North Lanarkshire Council is working alongside Routes to Work Limited, Motherwell, Cumbernauld and Coatbridge Colleges, North Lanarkshire Volunteers Centre, NHS Lanarkshire and Clyde Valley Housing Association in delivering the project.

The work within the contract will include marketing materials for the partner organisations for their participants in order to build awareness of the brand. The materials will be used as part of advertising and promotional campaigns in support of North Lanarkshire’s Working communications strategy.

Creative design suppliers will work across multi media campaigns - with a total of four suppliers set to be appointed.

The contract will expire in March 2011, with a value of £100,000 including any extension period.

Applicants must complete and return a PPQ before 22 March at mid day.

Invitations to tender are expected to be sent out at 29 March.
