Stuart Cosgrove, chairman of the Scottish Digital Media Industry Advisory Group has said that the creation of Interactive Scotland is “a welcome step forward” for the digital industry.

Cosgrove, who steered the Group’s recommendations through the strategy paper Digital Inspiration, which was published in December, said it was clear that the industry expects “greater transparency and clarity from public support agencies” and that would begin with being “joined-up and less hidden.”

"Another key benefit is that it places an emphasis on the interactive and multi-platform media industries which are most likely to grow in an era of technology convergence," he said.
