The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is organising a charity golf event, the Four Course Classic. The teams who enter will test their golfing limits by playing four courses in one day while fundraising for the charity.

The microsite, which is promoting the event, designed and built by Tictoc, allows users to search for a course near a current location using the interactive Flash map, and then sign up for the event online.

The site has been designed so that you can either pay for the event in one transaction, or pay for a quarter of the cost, and supply your team mates with a link so that they can pay for their share themselves.

The site keeps the teams informed of what’s happening through blogs and news stories, and provides a home for their fundraising efforts, giving them a place to set up an online fundraising page and find out about others’ successful fundraising stories.

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the leading UK charity focusing on all muscle disease, aiming to improve the lives of all babies, children and adults affected. tictoc has worked with the charity since 2008, originally completely overhauling their digital strategy, a key element of which was the re-development of their main website, as well as numerous microsites.

David Boorman, Events Manager at Muscular Dystrophy Campaign said: “The lively design and simple functionality makes it easy for golfers to find out more about the Four Course Classic and shows it off as one of the best new golf events in the UK. The interactivity of the website, including forums for golfers to chat, and an interactive map and sign up process makes it really easy for people to get involved.”
