Rowe made comms and marketing manager for SCVO

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) has appointed Ann Rowe as communications and marketing manager.

Rowe joins from Smarts where she worked as account director for over six years, replacing Mark Ballard who held a similar role as communications and campaigns manager before leaving in the summer to join Barnardo’s as assistant director for policy and influencing.

In her new role, Rowe will be manage SCVO’s Communications team which works with the media and produces a range of publications including the weekly newspaper Third Force News. Her role will also include leading on the organisation’s marketing strategies for promoting SCVO’s shared services to voluntary organisations and for promoting the interests of SCVO members in the media.
