The Birmingham office of recently merged agencies Trimedia and Grayling is to be headed up by Kate Macnamara.

Macnamara, who joins from GyroHSR where she was PR Group account director, will take over the role of director from Rachel Roberts, who opted to launch her own freelance consultancy, Spotty Dog Communications, at the end of last year.

Sally Rhodes, Grayling’s MD – UK Nations, Regions & Ireland, said: “The Midlands office has a broad client portfolio, ideally suited to Kate’s experience. Having spent time on both sides of the fence, she truly understands the needs of clients and has a proven track record in successfully running and growing an agency profit centre. She’s an ideal fit and has joined us at a very exciting time.”
