Jonathan Evans, creative director of design firm Navyblue is to leave the company this month.

Evans, who has been creative director at the Edinburgh and London agency since 2007, joined the company in 1998 and will leave this month, although he will also retain a financial interest in the business.

The company has undergone strategic and structural changes ‘following a period of intense pressure on trading’ and told The Drum that it was continuing to explore and implement a restructure as it looks to improve efficiency across its UK offices.

Doug Alexander, co-founder of Navyblue said: “After more than a decade of working alongside Jon, I want to take the opportunity - on behalf of the board and the wider team - to thank Jon for all his efforts. His influence and his camaraderie have both been critical to the creative reputation of Navyblue. He has also built beneath him a team of exceptional strength. We sincerely wish Jon every success going forward, and we are delighted he wishes to retain some of his financial interests within the business.”
