Aegon appoints Billington Cartmell to aid Tennis brand development

Pensions company Aegon had added Billington Cartmell to its marketing roster as it looks to continue to build its brand through the sponsorship of UK Tennis.

The London and Edinburgh agency has been added to Aegons’ marketing roster which already includes The Leith Agency, Line, The Brand Union, and Ptarmigan Media.

The company’s long-term strategy is to develop its brand to build market share and develop its presence within the UK.

It’s main marketing route has been through sponsorship, having become lead partner of British tennis in January 2009 which included naming rights to the Aegon Championships at The Queens Club in London.
