The Marketing Society has issued a call for entries from schools across Scotland for the Star School Award.

Run in partnership with Macdonald Aviemore Resort, the Star School Award invites schools to create a marketing plan to communicate the resort as Scotland’s leading family holiday destination.

Four short-listed schools will then be invited to make a presentation to the judging panel and offered the opportunity to refine their presentations with the assistance of a Scottish marketing company

The finalists will all receive complimentary tickets to The Marketing Society award ceremony and the winning school will also receive a day at Macdonald Aviemore Resort.

The award is open to teams of students studying in schools across Scotland and is free to enter. Marketing plans should be no longer than 1500 words and the judges will be looking for clear and distinctive plans which are reliable on a commercial basis. The deadline for entries is 15 February.
