Castrol has unveiled a new global ad campaign starring Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of its sponsorship of this summer's World Cup.

The television ad, for Castrol's Power 1 brand, was directed by The Mob's Hollywood director Paul W S Anderson, who was commissioned by Ogilvy Singapore.

It was shot by The Mob in Madrid on Phantom HD cameras and features former Manchester United star Ronaldo attempting to outperform a motorcyclist doing football tricks on his bike.

In other news at The Mob, the production company has added D&AD Gold winning director Mark Chaudoir to its roster.

Chaudoir previously worked for the BBC and Red Bee Media and has already shot his first work for The Mob, a campaign for Rightmove, commissioned by Hooper Galton.
